Drinking at The Holt
The other major draw here is that the Holt stocks the delicious range of the five Otter beers. Made just eight miles away at Luppitt, Otter Bitter, Head, Ale, Bright, and most recently Amber, are completely natural products all made using water from the head springs of the River Otter and a yeast culture that is unique to the brewery. Infact brewing has been in the family for three generations and The Holt is an extension of the McCaig’s family philosophy of providing a distinctive and sustainable taste of Devon.
